Spring Luncheon 2026

April 17 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

We are pleased to invite you to the Council on Aging of Ottawa’s Annual Spring Luncheon on Friday, April 17 at the Infinity Conference Centre (2901 Gibford Dr.). Our keynote speaker, Dr. Catherine Donnelly, will present “Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities: Reimagining Aging in Place Through Community.”

Keynote

The majority of older adults want to stay in their homes and communities as they age but face challenges in doing so. Catherine Donnelly, a leading expert on Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs), will highlight the NORC Oasis program and share key learnings while exploring the benefits NORCs can have for older adults, service providers, and the health-care system. NORCs are prevalent in Ottawa, with over 170 identified, four of which already host the Oasis program to support aging in place.

Schedule

  • 11:00 am |  Reception, Networking, Cash Bar and Silent Auction
  • 12:00 pm | 3-Course Luncheon
