Our Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) program fosters meaningful bonds between horses and seniors through:\n \n\nHands-on\, in-person experiential learning: Engage in ground-based\, unmounted activities that promote connection and trust with horses.\nLow-pressure interactions: Enjoy pleasant\, mindful interactions with horses in a safe and stimulating farm environment.\nSocialization and community building: Connect with others in the group through tea/coffee and refreshments.\nProviding opportunities for participants to connect with others in the group while enjoying tea\, coffee\, and refreshments.\n\nProgram Overview: Participants engage in activities such as grooming\, connecting with the horses\, observing and interpreting horse behaviour\, and participating in interactive\, horse-themed exercises. These sessions are designed to foster connection\, confidence\, communication\, and enjoyment in a supportive and inclusive environment. DESCRIPTION:HorsePower for Seniors is a free\, innovative program designed for people 55+ years\, focusing on reducing social isolation\, loneliness\, and improving quality of life.
