Fraud and Scam Prevention Webinar

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) reported over 100,000 incidents of fraud to Canadians in 2021, noting fraud is the number one crime against senior Canadians.

At the Fraud and Scam Prevention Webinar presented in partnership with Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario, caregivers and seniors will learn about recognizing, rejecting, and reporting fraud and scams. The presentation will cover specific frauds and scams that are common, including: grandparents scam, romance fraud, emergency fraud, CRA fraud, bank investigator fraud, and spoofing.
