“Kit’s Kingdom: The Journalism of Kathleen Blake Coleman”

Speaker:  Barbara Freeman is a media historian and former journalist who specializes in media history and gender and diversity in journalism. Until recently she was a full-time professor at the School of Journalism and Communication, Carleton University. She is now an adjunct research professor at Carleton. Freeman is also the author of three books. She will discuss her 1989 book, called Kit’s Kingdom: The Journalism of Kathleen Blake Coleman, plus her recent u-tube video about her part in the recent production of the Kit Coleman coin.
