This presentation provides a detailed view of how a computer works. It will answer questions, such as why bits are so important; how does a computer store text, numbers and images; what are the major components under the hood of your computer; how does a Central Processing Unit (CPU) work; what is assembly language; how do you fit millions of electronic components into one square inch of silicon; and many more. This presentation won’t make you a computer engineer, but it will show you the basics of how a computer works!
