The Council on Aging of Ottawa

Volunteer Opportunity – Intergenerational Advisory Group Members

Do you have a professional background working with infants, toddlers and pre-school children?
We are looking for individuals who have an interest in intergenerational programming who would like to help us imagine the possibilities!

The Council on Aging is collaborating and learning with Andrew Fleck Children’s Services and Families Canada and others to develop a demonstration site of best practices for intergenerational programming as a part of licensed early learning and care.

Specifically, we are looking for a group of older adults with lived experience in this field who could advise on exciting and innovative ideas for activities that would be possible and practical between older adults and very young children in a daycare setting.
