Committees

Since our beginning, COA has been known for its action committees. They are the hallmark of our work. Committees bring together older adults from diverse backgrounds and community partners to take action to advance the wellbeing of Ottawa’s older adults. Today, we are shaping public attitudes and policies through the following Action Committees:

Health Issues

Improving older adults’ quality of life by influencing public policy, program decisions, and practices related to health and health care.
