In honour of International Day of Older Persons (October 1st) and Ageism Awareness Day (October 9th), HelpAge Canada invites you to a free webinar on Confronting Ageism and Fostering Inclusivity in All Places.
Moderated by Nicole Clarke (Acting Executive Director, HelpAge Canada), join researchers Dr. Olive Bryanton (University of Prince Edward Island) and Dr. Laura Kadowaki (United Way of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University), along with panellists Alyssa Brierley (Executive Director, National Institute on Ageing) and Dr. Kiran Rabheru (Chair, Canadian Coalition Against Ageism), as we explore the effects of ageism through the lens of those who have experienced it, and what we can all do to foster inclusivity at every age.
