The Legacy Expo

May 3 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Legacy Expo: Shifting the narrative from taboo and fear to open dialogue, learning, and community strength.

The Legacy Expo is a three-day community event designed to connect, educate, and empower. While the weekend includes a networking event and documentary film screening, at the heart of the weekend is the Legacy Expo on Sunday  May 3rd, a free event for the public from 12-3pm at the Glebe Community Center.

With over 30 vendors and four engaging presentations, attendees can explore topics ranging from downsizing and navigating life’s next chapter, to caregiver support and resources (online and in-person), hospice care for both humans and pets, grief in the workplace, and the role of artistic creativity in healing. Interested in learning about soundbaths or how to talk to children about grief? Those are just two of the workshops being offered during the day. There truly is something for everyone.

The Legacy Expo highlights the depth and diversity of services available in the Ottawa region for everyone, but specifically those who are aging, stepping into caregiving roles, planning ahead, or simply wanting to be informed before it’s too late. It’s about being proactive, not reactive.

Too often we hear, “I wish I had known about this sooner.” The Legacy Expo exists to make sure you do.
