The Council on Aging of Ottawa
Revisit your favourite childhood memories and pastimes with a special celebration of heritage, arts, and culture at Cumberland Heritage Village Museum. Older adults, along with family and friends, are invited to travel through the decades, with sights and sounds from the 1920s through the early 1970s. Enjoy fun and creative activities for visitors of all ages, whether it’s releasing your inner artist with a craft, dancing to music from years past, playing a classic lawn or tabletop game, or reminiscing about your first car.
Explore a recreated heritage village—see authentic trade demonstrations, visit with farm animals, experience a lesson in a one-room schoolhouse, and more. Don’t forget to pack a picnic or grab a treat from the canteen and enjoy the museum’s wonderful green spaces.
Arts and culture programming, including music, storytelling, and visual arts, is presented in partnership by MASC.
Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15 from 10:00 am to 4 pm. Free admission for adults 50 years of age and older!
