Thrive in retirement – put your skills and abilities to great use!

October 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Whether you are planning your upcoming retirement, just starting your retirement journey as a federal retiree or have been enjoying retirement for years, this event is designed for you. We aim to provide valuable insights and practical tips to help federal retirees work after retirement – in or outside government, as a contractor, through an agency, etc., or as volunteers.

The Ottawa Branch of the National Association of Federal Retirees is proud to invite federal retirees and federal employees to this 90-minute event in Ottawa that is being livestreamed across Canada. You do not have to be a member of the Association to participate, but we hope you will think about joining us too.

Hear other federal retirees share their experiences:

  • Tamara Guttman, former Ambassador, now a consultant in leadership development and organizational ethics and effectiveness
  • Grace Olha, co-founder, Take Wing Professional Development and leadership and career coach
  • Roy Goodall, retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces, now President of the National Association of Federal Retirees
  • Michael Wernick, former Clerk of the Privy Council, now University Chair, author and strategic advisor and mentor.

The full agenda and biographies of our speakers are available here and simultaneous interpretation will be provided both in-person and on the livestream. The event will be recorded and available for later viewing on our website.

We thank our hospitality sponsor, LRO Staffing – full-service search and staffing agency serving Ottawa, Montréal, Calgary and Toronto, for their support.
