Come dance with hundreds of seniors and people living with Parkinson’s disease from all over the world!

March 31 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

On Monday, March 31st, 2025, over 500 Dancing with Parkinson’s (DWP) dancers, instructors and family members will gather in-person and live online for DWP’s “Rhythm of…” community celebration!

We are beyond excited to welcome Canada’s own Martha Johnson and Mark Gane (of “Martha and the Muffins”) who will share their iconic music, and their own “rhythm of life” as a woman living with Parkinson’s disease.

This national dance party will be the first time that DWP’s 12 in-person locations from across Canada will come together with our global online dance community to co-create a dance piece to Martha’s song, “The Rhythm of Life”, weaving together a shared vision of connection, creativity, and artistic expression.

Dancing is scientifically proven to slow the progression of Parkinson’s disease with physical, cognitive and emotional benefits for ALL seniors. DWP’s evidenced-based dance classes are available free of charge 365 days of the year. Information about program, our in-person locations across Canada and daily online classes, and also more about our “Rhythm of…” event can be found on our website:
www.dancingwithparkinsons.com.

We look forward to dancing with you on the 31st!
