April 9 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Understand how to keep Vulnerable Road Users (VRU) safe as a driver and as the VRU. This will cover the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and other small motorized vehicles. This is a shared responsibility. We will also review the safety rules around school buses, public transportation, agricultural vehicles, commercial vehicles, and emergency vehicles.

This presentation will explore

  • What is it and why?
  • What do I need to do?
  • What to expect from a group session?
  • Who needs to pass a practical exam?

Presenter: Lisa Lapierre, Regional Strategic Coordinator, Public Outreach and Education Office, Ontario Ministry of Transportation
Lisa has worked for the Ministry of Transportation for over 4 years. One of her roles is to collaborate with her partners to facilitate public education on all topics related to road safety.
